Secret Gardens - Various locations in Adderbury and Twyford - CANCELLED
A highlight of our Golden Jubilee celebrations in 2002 was the uncovering of 35 of Adderbury’s Secret Gardens, an achievement which was entered into the Guinness Book of Records Ten years on - June 24 2012 - we will be opening up many of these again – and a number of new gardens, nothing particularly grand or ostentatious, but all very much loved and displayed with pride
It’s not too late to add your own Secret Garden to the list – just call Aline Griffiths on 810002 with your entry. Look out for details of how to visit these hidden corners of our village at www.adderburyjubilee.co.uk and on our noticeboards

Street Fair and Parties - High Street
This will be a big day with the road closed from The Green to St Mary's Church from 9:30 to 17:00 (approximately).- 10:00 - Street Fair, so far 16 stalls booked
- 10:00 - Bouncy castle (on the green), Vintage Car Show (outside the Institute)
- 12:00 - Morris prosession from Twyford to the church
- 13:00 - Children (in fancy dress) join the procession on the green
- 13:30 - Fancy dress is judged by John Craven outside St Mary's Church
- 14:00 - Children's tea party (Under 11's)
- 15:00 - Children's games on The Green
- 15:30 - Seniors' tea party (Over 65's). Kindly sponsored by Smiths of Bloxham
- 16:30 - Street market closes

ATW Village Old Time Musical - St Mary's Church

Come along and celebrate in song and dance as we revisit the great British variety show.
Guided by your Master of Ceremonies, Edd Frost, in fine music hall tradition the show will take you on a journey through some of the best loved memories of the history of Variety.
Dress up in your Victorian/ Edwardian outfit and join in the fun of the Music Hall - there’s a prize for best outfit, so, break out your best whistle, put on your posh titfer, and come along and enjoy a good old fashioned night of entertainment.

Adderbury Olympics - Lucy Plackett field - POSTPONED
We are trying to get the village involved in our very own Adderbury Olympics, with a difference. Below is the current list of planned events, there may still be more to add though:
- Tug of war
- Football
- Cricket
- Rounders
- Pitch and putt
- Martial Arts display
- Aunt Sally
- Boys vs girls netball
- Running races
- Cycling
- Inflatable bungee run
All this is followed by a Barbecue, to put back on the calories you burn't off during the olympics

Sponsored family circular walk - Details will be available from the library, nearer the time
Starting at Adderbury Library, the route is approximately 6 km,3.6 miles and takes around 2 hours. Maps will be provided and sponsorship forms are available at the Library. Walkers can start from 1.00 pm onwards with the last walkers leaving at 2.30. All walkers can return to the Library for tea and cakes and to have their sponsorship forms stamped. Under 11 and Under 16 Photography/Art Competition. Using the sights from the walk and using any medium. Entries to the library by Sunday 23rd June. Winners will be announced at Party in the Park on the 30th June.
All monies raised will be donated to FOCAL .
